The first in a series of free EPs in support of the bi-monthly 'Uptown Saturday Night' club night at Camden's Lockside Lounge, 'Uptown Saturday Edits' Volume 1 showcases a trio of lighthearted dancefloor cuts from the DJs playing at the night on 3rd August 2013: Jim Sharp (Championship Vinyl), Chris Read (BBE / Music of Substance) & Matman (DMC / Droppin Science). Jim Sharp drops a trademark rework of a dancefloor soul classic, Chris Read gives a Neptunes anthem a jazzy rework and Matman ups the ante with a floor filling AV8 style party break.
